What is it?
The Fourth Account SCIM API provides a limited range of employee data suitable for provisioning users, including their:
- Fourth Account ID
- Name and email
- Preferred language and region
The API leverages the existing System for Cross-domain Identity Management (SCIM) standard. This can speed up integration, as you can leverage existing frameworks and open-source libraries when in development. And it is a RESTful API that uses JSON, further simplifying your integration route.

If you need to access Fourth users for the purposes of provisioning them in your own system, then use this API. It provides the right data to provision users successfully without additional unnecessary fields that could become a GDPR or other privacy risk.
